Rob Aitken

Rob Aitken has extensive experience in financial leadership, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Tongaat Hulett since January 2018, where Rob has also held the positions of Interim Chief Executive Officer, Acting Chief Financial Officer, and Finance Executive. Prior to this, Rob Aitken worked at Illovo Sugar from January 2009 to December 2017, advancing through roles such as Head of Finance and General Manager - Group Management Reporting. Earlier experience includes serving as Group Financial Accountant at Bidvest McCarthy and Audit Senior at Deloitte. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Accounting and Finance, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance/Accounting, both from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Additionally, Rob Aitken attended Kearsney College and Kloof High School.
