Sean Chiasson

Sean Chiasson has had a diverse range of work experiences. Sean is currently serving as the Director of Finance at Toniic since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Finance & Accounting Manager at Toniic from June 2021 to July 2023, and as an Accounting & Finance Associate from June 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Toniic, Sean worked as a Climbing Guide at Chockstone Climbing Guides since July 2017. Sean also served as an Executive Assistant at Capstone CPAs from October 2019 to June 2020 and as a Residential Coach at Cascade Crest Transitions from October 2018 to October 2019.

Sean has extensive experience in leadership roles as well. Sean worked as the Executive Director at Mountain Leadership Institute from September 2015 to March 2018. Additionally, they served as a Field Guide at New Vision Wilderness from July 2016 to July 2017 and as the RAD Camps Director at Big Lake Youth Camp from June 2012 to September 2015.

Sean also has experience in religious settings. Sean served as an Associate Pastor at City Sanctuary from November 2014 to June 2015 and as an Associate Chaplain at Portland Adventist Academy from September 2013 to June 2015. Furthermore, Sean worked as a Climbing Guide at Portland Rock Gym in 2013.

Sean Chiasson's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. In 2012, they attended Walla Walla University and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. Later in 2013, Sean acquired an additional certification as a Single Pitch Instructor from the American Mountain Guide Association. During the same year, they also completed the Wind River Fall Outdoor Educator Course at the National Outdoor Leadership School, specializing in Outdoor Education & Leadership.

Between 2010 and 2011, Sean attended Avondale College, where they pursued studies in Outdoor Recreation & Business. In 2022, they enrolled at Portland State University - School of Business and pursued a dual degree program, earning an MBA/MSF Dual Degree. The field of study for this degree is not specified.

Sean Chiasson also holds a Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate, obtained in December 2022 from Bloomberg. This certification signifies their proficiency in financial market concepts.
