Matan Bachar

Matan Bachar has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they were a Software Engineering Team Lead and a Full Stack Engineer at Tonkean. From 2016 to 2020, they were a Development Team Lead, Full-stack Developer, and DBA at the IDF - Israel Defense Forces. As a Development Team Lead, they accelerated the development of web based Java applications and transformed a monolith into dockerized microservices, for which they were awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Matzov unit. As a Full-stack Developer, they developed a web based Java application and worked with micro-services architecture and communication with Kafka and REST API. As a DBA, they worked with Oracle Database 11g and learned SQL, PLSQL, and queries optimization, as well as methods of implementation of entities changes as submitted by the development team.

Matan Bachar obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies between 2017 and 2020.
