Dr. Warren Williams serves as the Chief Executive of Katoa Connect since September 2021, focusing on digital inclusion programmes for communities. In addition, Dr. Williams holds positions as a Board Member for Te Ao Matihiko and Netsafe New Zealand, and chairs the Māori Advisory Group for the Digital Identity Services Trust Framework Board, providing insights from a Māori perspective. As a Commissioner on the Library and Information Advisory Commission and Board Chair of TŌNUI Collab, Dr. Williams contributes to various strategic initiatives in science, technology, and digital identity services. Membership on boards such as Community Networks Aotearoa, Manaaki Whenua - Landcare Research, REANNZ Ltd., and Trust Tairāwhiti further underscores a commitment to governance and community service. Dr. Williams' educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Strategic Management, an MBA, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies, all from The University of Waikato, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Computing and Mathematical Sciences.
