Athman Ali is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and digital transformation, currently serving as the Senior Advisor and Global Lead for Digital and Tech Transformation at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change since January 2022. Ali's role involves supporting country teams across various global regions, focusing on the application of technology for transformative governance and economic prosperity. Prior to this, Ali held multiple leadership positions, including Global Chief Executive Officer at 1000 Alternatives and Program Lead on Digital Economy at the Mastercard Foundation. With a strong background in education and development, Ali has contributed to significant projects with organizations such as the World Bank, Chemonics International, and TradeMark East Africa. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a professional certificate from Harvard University, and a BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
