Jennifer Hayes is currently the Director of Marketing & Events at Tony Foundation since 2022. Jennifer previously held the position of Director of Event Operations, North America at Gerson Lehrman Group since August 2007. Before that, Jennifer was a Tradeshow Coordinator at BEA Systems from August 2005 to May 2007. Jennifer graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2005 with a degree in Psychology, Spanish, and Public Relations.

A cancer diagnosis turns a family’s world upside down. While the shock of such news and is still fresh, life and its obligations continue – sometimes with mounting medical bills and other financial stresses. This is especially critical when the person who is diagnosed with cancer happens to be the financial provider for the family, and their medical condition is serious enough that they are no longer able to work. Tony Laudadio’s family faced this very predicament, as have countless others around the world. That’s why the Tony Foundation was created: to provide financial assistance to meet immediate, existing needs for families whose primary income earner, in their most productive years, has been diagnosed with cancer and is unable to continue employment. We accomplish this by: • Identifying critical needs for families in crisis due to cancer diagnosis • Filling a gap for cancer patients, aged 25-55, who were sole providers for their families/multiple dependants and are no longer able to work due to their illness • Providing financial assistance to qualifying families • Connecting families with essential funding and programs to help their needs Families who apply for financial assistance will have their applications considered for merit and to ensure that they meet our criteria. For applicants who are not selected for direct financial assistance from the Tony Foundation, we will provide referral information to outside vetted resources and nonprofits that can potentially be of help.
