Sravani Satpathy

Sravani Satpathy has a diverse background in data science and engineering. Sravani began their career as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services in 2013 and later transitioned to the role of Systems Engineer. In 2018, Sravani worked as a Data Science Intern at Wunderman, where they gained experience in CRM strategy improvement, logistic regression modeling, NLP techniques, and data collection automation.

In 2019, Sravani joined Dimension Data as a Data Scientist, focusing on developing use cases for clients, planning data ingestion and governance, and creating data models and analytical solutions. Sravani also proposed analytical use cases to increase revenue for a leading gateway and food solutions company.

Currently, Sravani is a Senior Data Scientist at Tookitaki, where they work on various Anti-Money Laundering System (AMLS) data products. Sravani is responsible for end-to-end product delivery to global clients, including experimentation, analysis, and implementation of data products in production. Sravani also specializes in model building, tuning, hyperparameter tuning, sensitivity analysis, and stability tests to ensure model robustness.

In addition to their work in the field of data science, Sravani also volunteers as a ComLink Befriending Volunteer at the Ministry of Social and Family Development in Singapore. Through the ComLink program, they support families in achieving stability, self-reliance, and social mobility.

Sravani Satpathy completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Institute of Technical Education and Research and Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University. Sravani attended these institutions from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their HSC in Science from Vikas Vidyaniketan in Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, from 2006 to 2008. From 1997 to 2006, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they completed their SSC in Science.

In 2019, Sravani Satpathy pursued a Masters in Enterprise Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore's Institute of Systems Science. Sravani obtained additional certifications, including "SQL for Data Science" from Coursera in February 2019 and "IBM Certified Database Associate - DB2 10.1 Fundamentals Certification" from IBM in July 2014.
