Michelle Danila

Michelle Danila has extensive experience working in the field of civil engineering and transportation planning. Michelle has worked for Toole Design Group as the Director of Engineering Operations, North America since 2020. Prior to that, they worked for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation as a Complete Streets Engineer from 2017 to 2020. Michelle also worked for Toole Design Group as an Associate and Senior Engineer from 2009 to 2017. Michelle has a strong background in transportation planning, traffic analysis, safety analysis, and roadway and intersection design. Before joining Toole Design Group, they worked as a Civil Engineer for Howard/Stein-Hudson from 2006 to 2009.

Michelle Danila obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, attending from 2004 to 2006. Michelle Danila has additional certifications as a Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, awarded by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
