John Hindman

John Hindman has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to learning and development. John currently serves as the Director of Learning and Performance Improvement (LPI) at Tooling U-SME, where they develop strategies for workforce development in the manufacturing industry. Prior to this, they were the Manager of Learning Services at Tooling University - SME, where they designed and implemented training programs for manufacturing workforces. John also worked as the Director of Learning Systems and Solutions at Global Skills X-Change, providing consulting services for traditional and technology-based learning solutions. Before that, they were the President and Instructional Technologist at Plain Talk, LLC, an e-learning consulting company. John also held management positions at ADG Creative, Strategic Solutions Group, Inc. (SSGI), and other companies, leading e-learning development groups and managing personnel. John began their career as a 3D Animator/Technical Writer at DP Associates and held various roles at Visart Video, The Derath Group, and Blue Ridge Cable - TV 13.

John Hindman attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications. John then attended the School of Communication Arts from 1999 to 2000, obtaining a Certification in 3D Art & Animation. Prior to their university education, John attended Pocono Mountain from 1986 to 1994, although no degree or field of study was specified during this time.
