Alex Blania

Alex Blania has a diverse work experience. They have worked as a CEO and Co-Founder at Tools for Humanity since January 2020. Prior to that, they were a Researcher at Caltech from July 2019 to January 2020. They also worked as a Master Student (Theoretical physics) at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light from April 2018 to January 2020, where they focused on deep learning and the application of AI on quantum systems under the supervision of Director Florian Marquardt. Currently, they are on leave from their role at the Max Planck Institute.

Alex Blania has a Master's thesis/Visiting student Researcher experience in Physics from Caltech. They also hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in both Physics and Industrial Engineering, also from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
