Julia Nalven is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in fraud prevention and risk management across various organizations. Currently serving as a Staff Fraud Strategist at Tools for Humanity, Julia focuses on verifying proof of humanness and combating fraud. Previously, as the Head of Risk at Lean, Julia led initiatives for financial products designed for the gig workforce, culminating in the company's acquisition by When I Work. Julia's earlier roles include Risk Analytics Manager and Senior Data Analyst in fraud and risk at Chime, as well as various positions at Google, where Julia managed teams and developed metrics to enhance trust and safety in payment products and user experiences. Julia began their career as a Market Research Analyst at Vizu, a Nielsen Company, specializing in data analysis for online advertising. Julia holds a B.A. in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Washington.
