Matt Watts

Matt Watts is an experienced animator and instructor specializing in Toon Boom software, currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Digital Media Instructor at Utah Valley University since August 2021. With a strong background in animation and rigging, Matt has contributed as a Toon Boom Harmony Instructor and has designed training courses and presented workshops at international festivals. Additionally, Matt has held various roles, including Animation Director and Rigging Supervisor at StoryBox Studios, Technical Director of Animation at Disney Television Animation, and Animator and Rigging Artist for notable YouTube channels. Matt's entrepreneurial venture, Matt Watts Art LLC, features educational YouTube tutorials and innovative animated advertisements. Currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design, Matt holds a diverse educational background in Architecture, Math, and Art.
