George Papachristos

George Papachristos has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. George is the co-founder and CEO of Toorbee, a travel technology company that connects European in-destination services providers with Chinese OTA through a b2b travel platform. In addition, they provide technological tools for in-destination services providers to create Chinese video and audio content.

Prior to Toorbee, George served as the Managing Director of Smart SA from 2011 to 2015. George was also a co-founder and advisor at Fuzz Enterprises Limited from 2012 to 2015. Before that, they co-founded and served as the CEO of P&R Energy from 2010 to 2012.

George has also gained valuable business education as a Sloan Fellow at Stanford Graduate School of Business from 2010 to 2011.

George'searlier work experience includes roles at Smart SA as a Business Development Director from 2006 to 2010 and as a Product Manager from 2005 to 2006. Additionally, they served as a Seaman in the Hellenic Navy from 2004 to 2005.

George Papachristos has a diverse education history. George obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended the Costeas-Geitonas School (CGS) for their high school education between 1986 and 1999. Papachristos pursued further studies and earned a Master's Degree in Southeast European Studies from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2005 to 2006. George then attended Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences from 2007 to 2009, where they obtained another Master's Degree in International Relations & Strategic Studies. Lastly, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2010 to 2011, where they earned a Master's Degree in Management.
