Joel Marans

Joel Marans is an experienced communications and brand strategist currently serving as the VP of Internal Communications & Employer Brand at Top Hat since November 2018. In this role, Joel acts as the chief internal advocate for the Top Hat brand, focusing on enhancing awareness of the company's mission and culture through strategic communications and events. Prior to joining Top Hat, Joel held various senior leadership positions at Softchoice, where responsibilities included overseeing external and internal communications, crisis management, and brand marketing. Throughout a diverse career in companies such as Publicis NetWorks and TBWA\Chiat\Day, Joel has demonstrated expertise in managing teams, driving brand initiatives, and shaping user experiences. Joel also has educational experience as a part-time instructor at Sheridan College. Joel holds a BA from Western University.
