Julia Cadney

Julia Cadney serves as the Content Portfolio Manager at Top Hat since September 2018, overseeing the Social Science portfolio of digital, interactive textbooks and guiding the strategic direction to align with business goals. Previously, Julia held various roles at University of Toronto Press from December 2014 to September 2018, including Sr. Educational Project Manager and Education Project Manager for Social Sciences, where responsibilities included supporting acquisitions editors throughout the publishing process. Early career experience encompasses work as a Publisher's Representative, where Julia conducted targeted sales campaigns and assisted with marketing projects, and as an Editorial Intern at Nimbus Publishing. Julia's educational background includes a Master's degree in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto, a Certificate in Data Analytics from BrainStation, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Creative Book Publishing from Humber College, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Mount Allison University.
