Dr. Muhammad Alsamman has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Dr. Muhammad began their career in 2004 as an Intern at the Medical Central Laboratory in Homs, Syria. In 2005, they completed internships at PharmaSol GmbH and VLB Berlin e.V. in Berlin, Germany. In 2007, they worked as a Student Assistant at the Institute of Animal Nutrition, Free University of Berlin, Germany and completed an Internship at the Department of Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Biotechnology, Free University of Berlin. In 2010, they began working at the Uniklinik RWTH Aachen as a Scientist (Post-Doctorate) and Research Associate (Doctorate). During this time, their responsibilities included engineering the requirements, testing and evaluating, and financial auditing, as well as generation and characterization of mice with a conditional knockout allele, Cre-Lox recombination system, Immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, and stable and transient transfection of immortalized cell lines. Dr. Muhammad also worked as a Scientist at Charit\u00e9, where they were responsible for the isolation and culture of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), isolation of CD34+ stem cells from human umbilical cord blood, and flow cytometry analysis (FACS). In 2017, they completed a Training: Clinical Research Associate (CRA) at mibeg-Institut Medizin, and a Strategy Management Training at contact GmbH. Since 2018, they have been working at Topas Therapeutics GmbH as a Research Scientist and Research Associate.

Dr. Muhammad Alsamman obtained their PhD in Biotechnology from RWTH Aachen University in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Dipl.-Ing. Biotechnology from Technische Universität Berlin between 2002 and 2010.
