Anthony Lawn

Anthony Lawn has worked in the tech industry since 2017. Anthony began their career as an Instructor at Tech EdVentures in 2017. In 2018, they joined iCode as a Senior Tech Lead, where they were a lead instructor in an after school program teaching computer science related skills to kids of various age groups. Anthony also wrote curricula for two week-long bootcamp-style classes. In 2020, they joined UT Dallas Callier Center for Communication Disorders as a Software Developer. Anthony was the lead developer on OptiSpeech, a Unity-based program that provides a 3D avatar that mimics movements of a patient's tongue using various Electro-Magnetic Articulography tools. Anthony'sresponsibilities included rewriting the program in a more maintainable way in a more modern version of Unity, as well as implementing new features, writing documentation for both other programmers and researchers using the program, and writing a test suite to ensure the program is reliable. In 2021, they joined Topaz Labs as a Product Engineer.

Anthony Lawn received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2019, after attending from 2015-2019. Anthony then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2020.
