Cindy van den Berg has worked at TOPdesk as a UX Designer for the domain since 2017. Their responsibilities include defining concepts within a certain domain, managing design capacity, and assisting with project planning. Cindy conducts research to explore and validate concepts. Prior to this role, they were a UX Designer for a development team at TOPdesk from December 2017 to January 2020. In this position, they collaborated with programmers and testers to create solutions and validate them with users throughout the project. Before joining TOPdesk, Cindy worked at Hogeschool Rotterdam from September 2013 to February 2014 as a participant in the Minor Designfull Innovation for one billion people.
Cindy van den Berg completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Information Studies: Human Centered Multimedia from the University of Amsterdam in 2017. Prior to that, they attended the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued Communication and Multimedia Design without obtaining a specific degree. Cindy's earlier education includes HAVO (Higher General Secondary Education) from Insula College, which they completed from 2004 to 2010 with a focus on Economie en Maatschappij (Economics and Society). Additionally, they obtained a certification in Ascentis Certificate in ESOL International at Level 2 - Anglia Proficiency (Common European Framework equivalent level C1) from Anglia Examinations in June 2010.
