Wayne Ireland

Wayne Ireland has a strong background in human resources and finance. Wayne began their career at Westar Energy in 1977, where they held various managerial positions until 2003. Wayne then became the Director of Benefits & HRIS, a position they held until 2010. After leaving Westar Energy, Wayne joined Westar Energy, Inc as the Director of HR Operations from 2010 to 2011. Wayne then transitioned to the Topeka Rescue Mission, where they first served as the Distribution Center Operations Manager from 2011 to 2013. Following that, they became the Director of the Distribution Center from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, Wayne took on the role of Director of Human Resources & Finance at the same organization.

Wayne Ireland began their education at Marion High School, where they graduated with a Diploma in the year 1975. Following this, they enrolled at Wichita State University in 1975 and completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General in 1980.
