Debbie Stanton serves as the Public Services Manager at Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library since May 2018, overseeing diverse library initiatives including Youth Services, the Alice C. Sabatini Gallery, and community partnerships focusing on enhancing customer experiences. Previously, Debbie held the position of Public Services Supervisor for the Information & Learning Team, where project management and staff mentorship were key responsibilities. With experience as a Public Library Management 2 Instructor at the State Library of Iowa and Library Director at Washington Free Public Library, Debbie has developed curriculum, managed budgets, and engaged with community partners to expand library services. Additional roles include grant assistance, youth services, and library technician positions, supported by multiple degrees in library and museum studies from reputable institutions.
