Karen Watson

Karen Watson has a diverse work experience in graphic design and marketing. Karen began their career as a Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant at Univenture from 2003 to 2004. Karen then moved on to work as a Marketing/PR Manager and Graphic Designer at the Cancer Prevention Institute from 2004 to 2006. After that, they joined CREW Network as a Graphic Designer and Communications Specialist from 2007 to 2013. During their time at CREW Network, they were responsible for managing the production of marketing materials and maintaining the visual identity of the organization. From 2013 to 2017, Karen worked for Payless ShoeSource as a Graphic Designer, where they focused on designing in-store signage and marketing materials. Most recently, they joined the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library in 2017 as an Art Director/Graphic Designer, where they execute their graphic design needs and serves as a brand ambassador. Throughout their career, Karen has demonstrated creativity, leadership, and the ability to work within limited budgets.

Karen Watson obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from New Mexico State University, completing their education from 1994 to 2003.
