Scarlett Fisher-Herreman serves as the Technical Services & Collection Development Manager at Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library, a role held since June 2002, leading a team of 17 to enhance community access to diverse library materials. Prior experience includes serving as a Reference Librarian, where responsibilities included providing reference and reader's advisory services and developing a health collection in collaboration with local hospitals. Earlier roles include a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Emporia State University, a Customer Service Specialist at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and a Library Assistant at Omaha Public Library, where a passion for libraries was ignited. Scarlett holds a Master of Library Science from Emporia State University and dual Bachelor of Arts in Art History, Criticism and Conservation, and International/Global Studies from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
