Laura Arroyo

Laura Arroyo is an accomplished news producer and writer with extensive experience in the broadcasting industry. Currently working as a News Producer/Writer at ABC 7 Chicago since April 2018, Laura has also contributed as a Freelance Writer/Producer for WBBM-TV since June 2015 and as a Public Relations Account Executive at TopFire Media Inc. since June 2014. Previous positions include news producer roles at WITI-TV and WISH-TV, where responsibilities encompassed story selection, editing, and field production. Laura has demonstrated expertise in producing high-quality newscasts, collaborating with various teams, and adapting swiftly to breaking news situations. A Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Northern Illinois University was earned between 1998 and 2002, solidifying a strong foundation for a successful career in journalism.
