Gerhyrah Grant, MPA

Gerhyrah Grant, MPA has held various roles in the fields of education, marketing, and project management since 2018. In 2022, they began working as a Substitute Teacher for both Kelly Education and Zenith Learning. Gerhyrah also became a Brand Ambassador for Topicals and Amazon Associates. In 2018, they were a Social Media Project Manager for an unknown company. In 2022, they began working as a Project Manager for Cisco, where they developed and managed marketing campaigns, designed communication pages, tracked deliverables, and measured progress against milestones and metrics. In 2020, they became a Project Manager for GJ Tech Cargo Logistics, where they progressed and executed successful marketing projects. In 2019, they were a Marketing Communications Specialist for the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce-Illinois, where they drafted and managed print, online, and social media communications. In 2018, they were the Vice President/Program Manager and Advertising Director for the SIUE Campus Activities Board, where they harmonized the planning and execution of all meetings and events, supervised 13 council members and 20 committee members, fostered relationships, and developed opportunities for collaboration. Lastly, in 2018, they were an Undergraduate Advising Program Assistant at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where they supported the academic advising office by scheduling students' appointments and maintaining advising staff's current calendars.

Gerhyrah Grant obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2020. Gerhyrah is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration with a focus in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at the same university, and is expected to complete the program in 2022.
