Erik Dumas

Erik joined Topographic in September 2013 as a Senior RPLS after serving as the Public Works Director for Johnson County, Texas. Prior to his position as the Public Works Director, Erik created and grew a successful land surveying company that focused on providing services for commercial and residential land developers, municipalities, utility districts, school districts, real estate professionals and others. Erik believes that you don’t achieve success and a great reputation in this business without first helping your clients achieve success with their projects. With that in mind, Eric was tasked with creating a Civil Department within Topographic to better service the growing DFW market. Under Erik’s leadership, the department has continued to grow with projects ranging from land development to municipal utility planning, with much more on the horizon. Erik began his surveying career in 1993 and was licensed as a Texas RPLS in 2000. He also obtained his Certified Floodplain Manager certification in 2012.
