Ibaad Rahman, PhD

Ibaad Rahman, PhD has worked in a variety of roles within the technology and education sectors. In 2021, they began their current role as Chief Technology Officer at Topology, where they lead the strategy for their technology platforms, partnerships, integrations, and external relationships. From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Beeline Connect, Inc. as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President - Engineering and Product, where they owned the vision of a multi-product SaaS platform and led the company through its 2018 acquisition. From 2015 to 2016, they served as Director of Engineering & Product at HealthCare Software, managing a globally distributed team of 50+ and launching a CRM and schedule management application. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Consulting Faculty / Adjunct Lecturer at Stanford University, teaching 6 classes on Computational Cosmology and Quantum Information Theory. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Research Physicist at The University of Texas at Austin, managing teams of 3-10 and executing eight concurrent research projects. In 2013, they were a Curriculum Developer at iFLY Indoor Skydiving, creating and developing science curriculum for iFLY tunnels around the world. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as Gallery Manager, Science at Thinkery. From 2009 to 2010, they were an MCAT Physics Instructor at The Princeton Review.

Ibaad Rahman holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin.
