Brendan Fong

Brendan Fong is a distinguished academic and leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Topos Institute since January 2021. Prior to this role, Brendan held postdoctoral positions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Department of Mathematics from September 2017 to January 2021 and at the University of Pennsylvania's Electrical and Systems Engineering Department from September 2016 to August 2017. Brendan earned a PhD in Computer Science and an MS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford, where studies took place between 2011 and 2016. Additionally, Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Philosophy in Mathematics from The Australian National University, both completed between 2007 and 2010.
