Sean Braithwaite

Sean Braithwaite has over fifteen years of work experience in the technology industry. In 2006, they began their career as a Developer at Interfacing Technologies. Two years later, they became a Partner at Enell Creative. In 2009, they worked as a Ruby Developer at SmartHippo. In 2010, they were a Data Infrastructure Developer at Datacratic, where they designed, developed, deployed, and operated various services used for data acquisition. In 2012, they became a Data Scientist at SoundCloud. In 2020, they were appointed as the Chief Technology Officer at Informal Systems. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of Mekatek.

Sean Braithwaite has a BCompsci from Concordia University, which they obtained in 2010 after studying Computation Arts from 2007-2010. Before that, they studied Computer Science at CEGEP - John Abbott College from 2004-2007. Sean also holds certifications from Stanford University for Quantum Mechanics for Scientists and Engineers (2015), Convex Optimization (2014), and Model Thinking from Coursera (2012).
