Robert Harnatkiewicz is an accomplished actuary with extensive experience in the reinsurance industry. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary at Topsail Re since October 2018, Robert focuses on simplifying the reinsurance process and partnering with insurance companies. Prior to Topsail Re, Robert held the position of Senior Vice President at JLT Re, where responsibilities included supporting brokers through RFPs and reinsurer negotiations. Robert also served as Vice President and Chief Actuary at Axiom Re Inc., contributing to various analytical projects, and worked as Vice President and Actuary at Munich Reinsurance America, where pricing support was provided across multiple areas. Earlier in Robert's career, a decade was spent at Reliance Insurance in various capacities related to reserves and pricing. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a concentration in Actuarial Science and Finance from The Wharton School.
