Louis Essien has worked in the design and art industry since 2015. Louis began their career as an Art Director/Intern at STB McCann Lagos, followed by a role as an Art Director at Noah's Ark Communications in 2017. In 2019, they were a Designer at News Central TV, an Assistant Manager, Art at The Hook Creative Agency, and a Digital Art Director at SMOOTH FM 98.1. Louis then moved to DeQube Agency as a Senior Art Director. In 2020, they were an Art Director at BBDO West Africa, and in 2021 they were a Senior Manager, Art at The Hook Creative Agency. Currently, Louis Essien is a Design Lead at Topship (YC W22) and an Art Director at Guaranty Trust.
Louis Essien attended the University of Lagos from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts.
