Peter Papai

Peter Papai, PhD, is an experienced data scientist with a robust background in analyzing data from various sources, particularly within healthcare and technology sectors. Currently employed at Toptal since October 2021 and previously at Diagnose Early, Peter has developed expertise in data analysis through work on healthcare platforms involving wearable devices. Prior roles include Lead Data Scientist positions at Tokopedia and Agoda, where Peter focused on time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and implementing scalable data solutions for projects such as demand forecasting and fraud detection. Peter's career began with roles as a Data Analyst at Intelligent Optimisations and as a Quantitative Researcher at WorldQuant LLC. Peter holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an MSc in Physics from Eötvös Loránd University.
