Elena Castellano

Elena Castellano is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of laser technology and photonics. Currently serving as a Technical Sales specialist for Ultrafast Fiber Lasers and CW Fiber Lasers & Amplifiers at TOPTICA Photonics since November 2022, Elena previously held the position of Laser Engineer at Magnosco GmbH, where responsibilities included managing laser system development for medical products. Prior roles include Researcher positions at the Leibniz-Institut für Kristallzüchtung, where Elena focused on solid-state visible laser systems, and at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid, concentrating on near-IR laser materials. Elena's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from Technische Universität Berlin, a Master’s Degree from Universidad del País Vasco, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
