Felix Hempel

Felix Hempel is an experienced IT Project Manager and Director of Software Development at TOPTICA Photonics since February 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Scrum Master, Advanced Software Engineer, and Software Engineer at Hillrom from February 2015 to November 2019. Felix contributed as a Werkstudent at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. in 2014 and as a Scientific Staff Member at Technische Universität München's Chair for Real-Time Computer Systems from November 2013 to March 2014. Additionally, work as a Scientific Staff Member was performed at the Excellence Cluster CoTeSys / Technical University of Munich from October 2011 to April 2013, and as a Werkstudent at BMW from April 2010 to April 2011. Felix holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, achieved in 2014.
