Jae-Ihn Kim is a Senior Development Engineer at TOPTICA Photonics, specializing in the development of a 200 MHz difference frequency comb system and enhancing product reliability through innovative fiber amplifier designs. Prior experience includes serving as a Principal Research Engineer at Hanwha Corporation, where Jae-Ihn led projects for laser rangefinders and chemical warfare detection systems while mentoring junior engineers. Previous roles also include a Postdoctoral Researcher position at Technical University Kaiserslautern, focusing on advanced laser techniques, and a Guest Scientist role at the Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, where Jae-Ihn developed a frequency-stabilized violet diode laser. Jae-Ihn holds a Ph.D. in Atomic/Molecular Physics from the University of Bonn, a Master of Science in Physics (Optics) from Sogang University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Optical Engineering from Cheongju University.
