CPA Imelda Mountains

Imelda Mountains is a CPA with a diverse range of work experience in accounting and finance. CPA Imelda is currently working as a Senior Accountant at TopUp Mama, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this role, Imelda worked at Sendy Ltd from April 2019 to November 2020, where they served as an Accountant. In 2019, they also briefly worked at FHI 360 as a Finance and Administrative Assistant. Imelda's earlier experience includes a role as an ALX Young Leader at ALX from October 2018 to April 2019, and another stint at Sendy Ltd as an Accountant from December 2016 to July 2018. Before that, they worked at Bridge International Academies, where they served as a Finance Associate with responsibilities in both accounts payable and accounts receivables from February 2016 to November 2016, and as a Finance Associate focusing on accounts receivables from December 2014 to January 2016. Imelda's earliest work experience was as an Accounts Assistant at Provide International from August 2013 to November 2014, where they were primarily involved in preparing statutory returns such as NHIF, NSSF, and PAYE.

Imelda Mountains obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Strathmore University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Visions Institute of Professionals from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in Kenya. In addition to their formal education, Imelda has obtained several additional certifications. CPA Imelda received the CPA certification from ICPAK in November 2018. CPA Imelda also obtained certifications in Financial Accounting Foundations and Strategic Planning Foundations from LinkedIn in April 2021. Furthermore, Imelda has certifications in HTML & CSS from IBM in October 2018, and they have earned edX Honor Code Certificates for Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Excel and Introduction to Managerial Economics in December 2015 from edX.
