Eduardo Ferreira

Eduardo Ferreira is an experienced Embedded Software Developer currently working at Toradex since August 2022, focusing on the development and maintenance of the TorizonCore embedded Linux distribution. Prior to Toradex, Eduardo held a similar role at Padtec S/A from January 2021 to August 2022, where responsibilities included Board Support Package (BSP) creation and embedded software development. Eduardo also worked as a Software Engineer at Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado from June 2018 to January 2021, specializing in Linux kernel development and Android device support. Eduardo's academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and an Engineer’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, where research involved hardware accelerators, task parallel hardware acceleration, and parallel algorithms performance. Additionally, Eduardo gained consulting experience at MagiCore in 2017, focusing on embedded Linux configuration and video application porting.
