Elias Chdid

Elias Chdid has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. Elias began their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at I.NETWORK Automation in 2016, where they designed and assembled electro-mechanical machinery and programmed robots. In 2017, they worked as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Debbas Electric LLC, where they specialized in home automation and lighting design.

From 2016 to 2018, Elias served as an Assistant Manager of Operations and Maintenance at Lebanese American University, where they managed a team of technicians and oversaw preventive and corrective maintenance for campus equipment.

Elias then transitioned to Chdid Contracting in 2018 as a Project Manager, focusing on constructability reviews, MEP engineering design, and project management.

Most recently, Elias joined Toray Plastics (America), Inc. in 2020 as an Electro Mechanical Specialist, where they provided engineering support for the startup and commissioning of a manufacturing film line, managed small and mid-size capital projects, and ensured adherence to safety practices. In 2023, they were promoted to the role of Electrical Engineer II at the same company.

Elias Chdid attended the Lebanese American University from 2013 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications throughout their career, including SINAMICS G120 drive commissioning and maintenance from Siemens in May 2022, Programming with SCL from Siemens in December 2021, TIA portal programming from Siemens in October 2021, NFPA 70E from NFPA in February 2021, OSHA 10 from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in April 2020, and OSHA 30 from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in April 2020.
