Rebecca Smith

Rebecca Smith has over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as Technical Support Manager and Senior Releasing Officer at Torbay Pharmaceuticals since August 2005, where responsibilities include releasing products to market and managing deviations. Previous roles at Torbay Pharmaceuticals include Head of Quality Assurance, overseeing validation and quality systems, as well as Validation Manager, where validation activities encompassed everything from sterile liquid production to equipment and computer systems. Earlier experience includes roles at South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a Biomedical Scientist in Haematology and Blood Transfusion, QC Chem Lab Analyst, and QC Validation Specialist. Rebecca holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical Technology and Quality Assurance from the University of Leeds and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of the West of England.
