Derek Barbo

Derek Barbo is a Hardware Engineer at Torc Robotics since January 2022. Prior to that, Derek worked as a Greenfleet Product Development Engineer at Altec from June 2018 to December 2021, specializing in hybrid-electric technologies. Derek also has experience as an Engineering Intern/Drafter at Shickel Corporation, where Derek collaborated on designing custom steel architecture. Educated at Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Derek is skilled in designing custom electrical and hydraulic systems for telecom and utility vehicles.
