Garrett Madsen

Garrett Madsen is currently an Engineering Manager and Group Lead at Torc Robotics, specializing in behavior, motion planning, and control software engineering for autonomous vehicles. Prior to this role, Garrett worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Los Gatos Research, focusing on mechanical and electrical design for laser spectroscopy instrumentation. Additionally, Garrett served in the Nevada Air National Guard as a Staff Sergeant and worked as a Power Plant and System Protection Engineering Intern at NV Energy. Garrett holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
