Mehdi Zamanipour, Ph.D. is a Staff Technical Product Manager at Torc Robotics since January 2020. Prior to that, worked as a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, and as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar and Research Engineer at the Federal Highway Administration. Zamanipour also holds experience as a Senior Engineer at the University of Arizona, where Mehdi worked on traffic signal control applications in a connected vehicle environment. With a background in Industrial Engineering and Systems Engineering, Zamanipour is skilled in developing localization and sensor fusion algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
