Pranali Desai

Pranali Desai is a skilled software engineer specializing in behavior and path planning, currently serving as Software Engineer II at Torc Robotics since January 2022, where Pranali founded and co-chaired the Women at Torc initiative. As a co-founder of Robomechtrix since November 2016, Pranali has contributed to an educational YouTube channel focused on making robotics accessible through concise tutorial videos. Prior experience includes working as a Robotics Software Engineer in motion planning at IAM Robotics, where Pranali developed features that enhanced the Bolt Robot's autonomous docking capabilities, and contributed to research on topological mapping using sensor data at the University of Maryland.
