Sean Copenhaver

Sean Copenhaver is a Test Engineer at Torc Robotics since September 2021, with a strong background in automated vehicle testing and development. Previously, Sean served as an Automated Driving Vehicle Test & Development Intern at Continental, where research and assembly of a sensor system for a 1/5th scale autonomous vehicle took place, alongside programming using ROS in C++ and some Python. Earlier experiences include an Engineering Test Lab Intern position at Hamilton Beach Brands Inc., where assembly and life testing of kitchen appliances were conducted, and the development of a project request website for engineers. Additionally, an internship at Cloud Managed Services Group, Inc. involved troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software issues. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, completed in May 2021, and graduated from Deep Run High School in 2017.
