James O. Smith

James O. Smith is a Senior Test Engineer at Torch Technologies, Inc. since February 2019, bringing extensive experience from a distinguished career at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), where Smith served as Associate Laboratory Director until retirement in February 2019. With a strong background in personnel and contract management, Smith coordinated crucial projects for the Software Engineering Directorate of the Army Research Development and Engineering Command. Notable roles include leading technical teams for significant international fire control system developments and serving as program manager and safety engineer.
