Michael Clarke

Michael Clarke, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering, technology development, and business consulting. Currently serving as an Advisor at Astia since February 2014, Michael contributes to the success of women-led startups by evaluating opportunities for review. As a Consultant at AlphaSights and a Council Member at Gerson Lehrman Group, insights in business, marketing, and engineering are provided to decision-makers. Michael has also held roles such as Mentor at Torch, Technical Advisor at DayOne Response, and Senior Director at Entegris where leadership and vision were pivotal in managing complex projects and teams. Michael earned a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, respectively, and completed an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Rutgers Business School. Involvement in professional organizations includes membership in ASME and Beta Gamma Sigma since 2012 and 2020, respectively.
