Akmal Wardak

Akmal Wardak currently serves as a Special Assistant at Torden LLC since May 2022 and has been a Senior Linguist at PGLS since July 2016. Previously, Akmal held positions as a Pashto Linguist at CWU, Inc from June 2015 to May 2022, and as a CAT II Linguist at Strategic Intelligence Group (SIG) from November 2012 to June 2015. During the time at SIG, responsibilities included serving as a Pashto linguist after the organization's transition from Mission Essential where Akmal worked as a Pashto Linguist CAT II from February 2012 to November 2012. Prior to the linguistic roles, Akmal was a Retail Store Manager at Ralphs Grocery Company from June 2003 to February 2012. Akmal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University-Northridge, completed between 2008 and 2011.
