Alison Ward

Alison Ward has extensive experience in public sector leadership, currently serving as Chief Executive at Torfaen County Borough Council since November 2002, after previously holding the position of Assistant Chief Executive. Prior to this role, Alison spent over six years at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council as Assistant Director of Social Services and Housing and nearly seven years at West Glamorgan Council as Senior Child Care Lawyer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Exeter and a background in law from Hereford High School for Girls and Hereford Sixth Form College.
