Anthony Hunt

Anthony Hunt is an experienced political leader currently serving as the Leader and Councillor for the Panteg ward at Torfaen County Borough Council since May 2012, also holding the position of Cabinet Member for Resources. Previous roles include Political Researcher and Adviser at the House of Commons, National Assembly candidate for South Wales East, and Parliamentary Candidate for Ludlow. Additional experience encompasses serving as a Special Adviser at the Ministry of Justice and as a Researcher for Paul Murphy MP. Hunt's career within the Labour Party features various roles supporting elections and by-elections. Educationally, Hunt holds a Law degree from Cardiff University, with a focus on environmental law and central/eastern European constitutions.
