Meleina Hancock is a seasoned textile artist and designer with extensive experience in the fashion industry. Currently serving as a Textile Artist at Tori Richard, Ltd. since July 2021, Meleina also holds the position of Owner & Designer at ʻOkika Cloth, a contemporary women’s clothing label based in Hawaiʻi, since May 2018. Prior roles include Textile Designer at Tea Collection and various positions at Levi Strauss & Co., starting as an Assistant Designer and advancing to Textile CAD Designer. Meleina began a career at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. as an Assistant Textile Designer and gained early experience as a Textile Designer and Merchandise Coordinator at Wear Recycle. Educationally, Meleina earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design from the Academy of Art University and attended the Art Institute, California Design College.
