Nathalie Scholler has a strong background in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Nathalie most recently served as the VP of Translational Research at TORL BioTherapeutics, a biotech company focused on antibody-based therapeutics for cancer patients. Prior to that, they held positions at Gilead Sciences, where they were the Senior Director of Oncology Research, and at Kite, a Gilead company, where they worked as the Director of Translational Medicine. Nathalie also has experience in academia, having served as an adjunct lecturer at Santa Clara University and an associate adjunct professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Earlier in their career, they held roles as the Director of Cancer Immunology at SRI International, a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania, a senior staff scientist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, a senior research scientist at Seattle Genetics, and a staff research scientist at the Pacific Northwest Research Institute. Nathalie's expertise spans a range of areas, including oncology research, CAR T-cell therapy, immunology, and biochemistry.
Nathalie Scholler obtained a PhD in Immunology from the University of Sciences, Aix-Marseille II, France, from 1991 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the School of Medicine, Aix-Marseille II, France, from 1980 to 1988. Nathalie also holds a degree in Sciences and Mathematics (Bac D) from Lycee Perier, Marseille, which they obtained from 1977 to 1980. Furthermore, Nathalie Scholler earned a Medaille d'Argent in Guitare from the Conservatoire National de Musique de Marseille, where they studied from 1974 to 1980.
